Oral Health in Football
Registration is now open .... It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the Oral Health in Football Symposium on 29 August 2022.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions on sports dentistry and learn to recognize various oral injuries and know the relation between occlusion and athlete’s performance. Additionally, this event will provide unique opportunities to all attendees in the medical and sports field. The symposium strives towards enlightening medical staff and athletes on the latest mouth guard materials use and tries to create awareness on how to minimize dental traumas in the field.
Overall Learning Objectives:
On completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Outline the impact of oral health in football
- Show how to diagnose and manage different types of oral injuries on the field
- Explain the role of sports dentist in the event
- Examine how malocclusion might affect football players

The HGI-03-P106: This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions-Accreditation Section (DHP-AS) and is approved for a maximum of 4.0 hours.
