Join us for Aspetar’s Tuesday Lecture Series (our ‘Grand Rounds’)—a unique learning experience where experts in sports medicine and science share current best-evidence on a variety of topics relevant to all health and science professionals working in sports medicine. Register now and expand your knowledge and skills across a wide range of exciting areas! The 2025/26 academic year commences on 9 September 2025.

Overall learning objectives:
On completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply an inter-disciplinary and high-performance team approach to athlete health care.
  2. Discuss the principles of Evidence-Based Practice and Shared Decision Making in Sports Medicine and Science.
  3. Apply best evidence in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of common medical and musculoskeletal conditions in Sports Medicine and Science.
  4. Explain some of the current controversies, ethical issues and challenges in Sports Medicine and Science.
  5. Implement optimal athlete medical care for sporting events (local, regional, and international).
