Senior registered nurse - Aspetar

 Mrs Tahani is a senior registered nurse at Aspetar hospital OPD department, Syrian origin born in Qatar 1993. She holds a bachelor degree in nursing from the University of Calgary in Qatar and a Master degree in Genomics and Precision medicine from Hamad Bin Khalifa University. With a strong clinical and academic background, she has developed expertise in both direct patient care and research.

Tahani’s professional journey includes extensive experience at Sidra Medicine, where she worked in the Nephrology and Rheumatology Unit as a clinical nurse and also served as a research coordinator in a research study in microbiota. She also led several quality improvement initiatives and contributed to JCI accreditation efforts. She holds multiple certifications including diabetic education and advanced cupping therapy. She worked as diabetic educator at Aman Hospital, where she developed patient-centered diabetes education plans and empowered patients to manage their conditions effectively.

She plays a key role at Aspetar in the Learning and Development team in the Outpatient Department supporting learning and team development. She is also a co-investigator in a pain management research project and actively involved in patient education initiatives and quality improvement projects. Known for her compassionate care, strong leadership, and dedication to lifelong learning.
