Ousmane Coulibaly began his football journey at FC Mantois 78 in the Paris region, where his talent and defensive qualities quickly stood out. He was soon scouted by En Avant Guingamp, a decisive step that opened the door to his professional career.
At just 20 years old, he signed his first professional contract with Stade Brestois 29, where he spent five seasons. His consistent performances then led him abroad to Greece, joining Platanias FC in the Super League. His solid displays earned him a move to the country’s most historic and prestigious club, Panathinaikos FC. Over the course of three seasons in Athens, he had the opportunity to compete in European competitions, marking a significant highlight in his career.
Following his successful spell in Europe, Coulibaly continued his journey in the Middle East by joining the Qatar Stars League with Al-Wakrah SC, where he played for two and a half seasons. He concluded his professional playing career with Al Shahania SC in the Qatari Second Division.
On the international stage, Ousmane Coulibaly proudly represented Mali, featuring in four Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments, establishing himself as a key figure for his national team.
After retiring from professional football, he successfully transitioned into coaching. Driven by passion and a desire to pass on his experience, he joined Aspire Academy in Doha, where he has been working for more than two years as a coach, helping shape and develop the next generation of football talents.
