Nelda Nader is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of clinical experience and specialized expertise in sports nutrition and injury management. She holds a Master’s in Food Management, an IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition, an ISAK accreditation and a Certification in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
At Aspetar, Nelda supports long-term injured athletes by integrating clinical and performance nutrition strategies into rehabilitation, with a focus on cultural relevance and evidence-based recovery. She has played a key role in developing structured nutrition pathways, supplement safety education, and supporting national and international athletes, including Aspire Academy.
She has contributed to the development of the Qatar National Sport Supplement Platform. Her research focuses on bone stress injuries, low energy availability, nutrition interventions during immobilization and inflammatory phases, and the development of nutrition tools for active Arabic populations. Nelda is a frequent presenter at international conferences and actively contributes to community education on anti-doping and safer supplementation strategies. (162 words)
