Evan Jeanguyot is an Australian Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist working at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, Qatar. He brings over 14 years of experience working in elite sport, with previous roles at the NSW Institute of Sport and multiple Australian National Sporting Organisations. Evan is currently completing a PhD focused on the clinical progression and performance metrics associated with calf muscle strain injuries, and he co-leads Aspetar’s Bone Stress Injury Group. His previous appointments include working with the Australian Rowing, Athletics and Men’s Hockey Teams, as well the Australian Young Matildas Football Team. In 2021, Evan was part of the Australian Paralympic Team at the Tokyo Games, and in recognition of his contributions to sport, he was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2023. Evan also serves as a consultant to professional and Olympic sports teams worldwide, with a particular focus on complex lower limb injuries and high-performance rehabilitation strategies.
