Salwa is responsible for designing and implementing a medical facility's imaging strategy, procedures, equipment and policies. She manages the team in the operation of all of the facility's equipment, including fluoroscopes, computerized tomography scanners, X-ray machines and magnetic resonance imaging equipment. She assesses the accuracy of images and handles all technical troubleshooting. She also develops and puts into place safety protocols and regulations, ensuring her departments compliance with facility and governmental requirements.
She acts as a front-line supervisor responsible for the entire Medical imaging department. She supervises the maintenance and quality control of the department’s equipment and maintain inventory and order supplies, she plan the strategy to achieve the department goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Radiologic Technologist/Kuwait University 1994
- Master degree in health care management/Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland 2014
