Dr Noora Alawam is a UK qualified General Practitioner joining the newly formed Musculoskeletal Medicine team at Aspetar. Dr Alawam qualified from the University of Leeds, UK in 2017, and completed a Physiology intercalated degree at King’s College London in 2015; receiving a first-class honours degree. She went on to complete her family medicine training at King’s College Hospital London. During her training, she was involved in several mentoring schemes and teaching initiatives in the UK. Dr Alawam has also been involved in numerous research projects and has presented at a host of international conferences.

  • Mentoring of 3rd and 5th year Imperial medical students; final year OSCE examiner; virtual on-call simulation training organizer
  • Implemented a teaching scheme offering education around pertinent legal frameworks within an acute District General Hospital in London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Winner of Healing Hands Essay Writing Competition – granted 2 week 'Doctors of the Future Scholarship' by Weil Cornell Medical College (May 2010)
