Ms. Feriel Dalansi

Post-Graduate Researcher

Feriel Dalansi is a post-graduate researcher at Aspetar, and a PhD candidate at Amsterdam University Medical Centre – UMC, The Netherlands, With a research focus on ligamentous ankle injuries and return-to-play. Her work seeks to better understand the strength and functional deficits that may persist when athletes resume sport, helping to improve decision-making in the absence of standardized return-to-play criteria and to reduce the risk of re-injury and suboptimal outcomes. She previously worked as a research assistant at Aspetar, where she completed her MSc research on the validation of a virtual-reality tool for concussion assessment. In addition, she has contributed to several collaborative research projects, supporting a practice-informed and athlete-centred approach to her research.
