Dr. Miguel A. Khoury is an Argentinian Orthopedic Surgeon graduated at the University of Buenos Aires. Dr. Khoury is a passionate sports practitioner and his main interest is related to Orthobiology and Sports Injuries. At present he is involved with the use of expanded stromal cells to treat several osteoarticular conditions.
He was resident and chief resident at the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He did a Research Fellowship in Biologics and Sports Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and a Clinical Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. On his return to Argentina he was Team Physician of Racing Club, a first division Soccer Team and Team Physician of the Davis Cup Team and Club de Amigos Volleyball Team until present.
He is Past-President of the Argentine Orthopedic Sports Medicine Association and Founder and President of ATOBA, Orthopedic Biologic Association of Argentina. He belongs to several Argentine and International Associations. He has published several International papers and book chapters in Peer- Review Journals and is present Member of the Editorial Board of The American Journal of Sports Medicine.
