Fahad Al-Shamsi is a Sports Podiatrist at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Podiatry from Australia and has over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in the management of foot and lower limb musculoskeletal injuries across Australia, Oman, and Qatar. After beginning his career in Australia, he spent several years in Oman, where he led podiatry teams before joining Aspetar in 2016. At Aspetar, he has been an integral member of the medical teams supporting major international events, including the 2019 World Athletics Championships, FIFA Arab Cup 2021, FIFA Arab Cup 2025, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He is actively involved in education and professional development and is a regular speaker and workshop facilitator at regional and international conferences.
