Scientific Researcher

A post-doctoral researcher in exercise and environmental physiology. Specifically, focusing on the use of wearable technology to better understand the physiological responses of athletes to training and competition. The aim of this research is to develop sport specific evidence-based guidelines for practice and inform policy that will better protect the health and performance of athletes in environmental extremes (e.g., heat, cold and altitude). He has worked on research projects across World and European championships with several International Federations (World Athletics, World Aquatics, European Handball Federation and the England and Wales Cricket Board).

Qualifications

  • PhD in Exercise and Environmental Physiology (Loughborough University, UK)
  • MSc (by research) in Exercise Physiology (University of Bedfordshire, UK)
  • BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (Buckinghamshire New University, UK)
