Organised by Aspetar’s Surgery Department , the one-day masterclass will take place at the Sports Surgery Training Centre (SSTC), with live surgical procedures transmitted in real time to the Aspetar Auditorium. This innovative format will create an immersive learning experience, enabling participants to observe expert-led procedures while engaging in interactive discussion. The course will bring together orthopaedic surgeons from Qatar and across the Middle East, alongside international delegates from Asia, Europe, and the United States, reflecting Aspetar’s expanding global educational reach. The scientific programme will focus on knee, shoulder, ankle, and handandwrist injuries, highlighting Aspetar’s recognised expertise across major orthopaedic subspecialties. A strong emphasis will also be placed on minimally invasivetechniques, demonstrating their role in improving surgical precision, reducing recovery time, and supporting athletes’ safe return to sport. Live procedures will also be accompanied by exper t commentary, allowing participants to explore clinical decision-making, technical considerations, and post- operative management in real time. A defining feature of the masterclass is its multidisciplinary approach, integrating perspectives from orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance science.
