The medical delegations participating in the ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019, expressed their great admiration for Aspetar and the services it offers during the tournament, on their visit to the hospital on Sunday.

The medical staff participating in the tournament were invited to tour the hospital, where they received explanations about the operation of the hospital and the high-quality services provided to athletes locally and around the world.

The visiting delegation included members of the Medical Committee of the ANOC World Championship taking place in Doha2019, as well as a second delegation consisting of doctors and therapists from the various participating teams, who were briefed on the most important services and facilities provided by the hospital in addition to the latest technologies and scientific research conducted by Aspetar, which makes valuable contributions to the sports medicine field around the world.

Chris Milne, Chairman of ANOC medical commission said:

We are here at Aspetar as part of our visit for Qatar ANOC world beach games, our role is to provide an overview the medical services. We’ve been delighted with the quality of care that we’ve observed in particularly the resources we’ve seen to the services of the athletes.I appreciate it, because of the games have been given to Qatar in short notice a, few months, with respect to expertise you built up for many years, with recent IAAF world championships event.

About his visit to Aspetar Prof Chris said:

well, it’s my second visit to Aspetar, I’ve some friend and colleagues here who have been working at the facilities for some time, I’m aware of the range of big expertise they have. It’s wonderful to see how you built on the experiences of events.

Prof Fabio Pegozzi, president of International Federation of Sport Medicine said:

“ We have been invited to visit this hospital, which provide services to all the athletes engaged for the beach games, it’s not my first time here, I have been here many times, for me it’s always a pleasure to be here because Aspetar is a  great sports medicine hospital and every time I come I see really  important developments “.
