Day 1: Attendees will be initiated to the basic techniques of KINESIOLOGY Taping Day 2: Attendees will be educated on the KINESIOLOGY Taping assessment, upper & lower limb taping Day 3: Attendees will perform KINESIOLOGY Taping clinical reasoning workshop & theoretical evaluation

Over All Learning Objective:

During this event the participant will be able to: 

1. Explain and apply the concepts of the Kinesiology Taping Method. 2. Describe the unique characteristics of the Kinesiology Tape. 3. Understand the principles of Kinesiology Tape application. 4. Utilize and demonstrate application skills in guided practical sessions. 5. Describe the various cutting techniques and their clinical applications. 6. Apply an efficient method to normalize the muscle tonicity, decrease pain and swelling, restore range of motion. 7. Apply various taping techniques for treatment of the spine and upper / lower extremity dysfunction. 8. Formulate a clinical reasoning in a holistic way of thinking in order to identify, classify the problems and to choose the best techniques to apply.

This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity Category 1 as defined by the Qatar Council for Health Care Practitioners-Accreditation Department and it is approved for a maximum of 14.75 hours
