Liam McManus is an experienced podiatrist and healthcare leader, currently serving as Head of Podiatry at Aspetar. With a strong background in musculoskeletal podiatry, diagnostic ultrasound, injection therapy, orthotic manufacture and lower limb rehabilitation, Liam has worked across NHS and the Independent Practice sector, shaping innovative, patient-centered care.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Huddersfield and a CASE-accredited qualification in Medical Ultrasound. Liam has mentored clinicians in ultrasound and injection therapy, and is committed to developing high-performing clinical teams.
He is the joint owner of South West Podiatry, London and continues to serve the profession nationally within the UK as an elected Member of Council and non-executive Director at the Royal College of Podiatry.
Liam recently published a study in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research: “An evaluation of a virtual musculoskeletal podiatry service implemented to address prolonged NHS waiting times.”
