Committed to elevating purpose, people, communities, and performances, Pierre is an accomplished strategic change leader with over 25 years of professional experience, whose career has transitioned by deliberate choice from an initial technical role in sports Physiotherapy, into general management and leadership roles in 4 countries (Australia, UK, Canada and Qatar).
Pierre holds a BSc (First Class Honours) Degree in Physiotherapy from Ulster University, Jordanstown (1997), a Master’s of Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, Melbourne (2000), and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Qatar (2016).
Pierre’s previous positions have included Senior Physiotherapist at the English Institute of Sport, Head of Performance Services with British Athletics, Clinical Manager and Director of the National Sports Medicine Programme of Qatar, and Director of Performance Services with the Canadian Sports Institute of Ontario, before returning to Qatar to rejoin Aspetar in 2021.
In his current role as Director of Medical Services with the National Sports Medicine Programme, Pierre is responsible for the overall strategic development, and operational implementation, of the 36 satellite clinics and 260 clinical staff working across Qatar’s sporting clubs and federations, as well as the Aspire Academy Sports Medicine Centre.
