As a European champion and a medallist at the World Championships, she is one of her country's most celebrated athletes. Now, she's at Aspetar to prepare for her next big challenge, and she shares her thoughts on her career and her experience in Qatar. You've had a very successful career at a young age. Can you tell us about some of your key achievements? I've been fortunate to achieve some great results. Winning the bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the World Championships in Doha was a huge moment for me. I also won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Rome in 2022. It's been an incredible journey so far, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished. How did you hear about Aspetar, and what has your overall experience been like? Aspetar is known as one of the best clinics in the world for athletes. I heard many positive things about it, so I thought the pre-season was the perfect time to come here. My goal was to get a complete health check to prepare for the hard work ahead. The overall experience has been amazing. The doctors are incredibly kind and professional, and I've gotten all the results I need for the future. Would you recommend Aspetar to other athletes? Absolutely. I would highly recommend it because this level of professionalism is very hard to find. The doctors are among the best in the world, making this the ideal place for athletes to check their health, treat an injury, or anything else they need. What are your objectives for the next season? My main goal is the World Championships in Singapore this July. I want to have another great performance, especially after winning the bronze medal right here in Doha last year. That was my first medal from a World Championship, and I really want to continue that momentum. How did you find Qatar and Doha in particular? I really like it here. My first visit was earlier this year for the World Championships, and I had some amazing memories. I’m very happy I had the chance to come back so soon. The architecture is beautiful, and it's incredible what has been done with all the buildings. I also feel very safe here. We even met some friendly Bosnian people who helped us a lot.
