Quite simply, the Algerian Football Federation has a partnership with Aspetar, and it’s a highly reputable centre. I know it’s a great place to train, there’s everything you need to recover well. Personally, I’ve been doing a full-body recovery programme using the treatments and equipment available here. Everything is serious, structured, and very professional; exactly what I like. There’s an impressive team: surgeons, doctors, physios, trainers, and nutritionists. We’re well supported and in excellent hands throughout the process. A technically gifted forward and current player for Olympique de Marseille, Gouiri has also become an essential member of the Algerian national team. Unfortunately, a recent shoulder injury, sustained during a FIFA World Cup qualifier, has sidelined him at a crucial moment in his career, forcing him to miss the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) for the second consecutive time. As part of his recovery journey, Gouiri chose Aspetar for rehabilitation, citing the hospital’s strong reputation and its partnership with the Algerian Football Federation.
