This collaboration was formalised in July 2025 during the visit of Adnan Dirjal, marking the beginning of closer medical and technical cooperation. Since then, several key Iraqi players - including Ayman Hussein, Youssef Amyn, Ali Al-Hamadi, and Mustafa Nadhim - have undergone specialised treatment and rehabilitation at Aspetar, benefiting from its world-class facilities and expertise. Notably, Hussein and Amyn followed tailored recovery programmes in Doha ahead of crucial qualification matches, ensuring peak readiness.
