14 ASPETAR MAGAZINE ASPETAR IN NEWS A Legacy of Excellence: Aspetar Honours Long-Serving Staff Aspetar recognised 177 employees for their long-standing service during a special ceremony held on 12 February 2026, celebrating the dedication of individuals who have contributed to the organisation’s journey over the years. The event honoured staff members reaching key career milestones of 10, 15, and 20 years, reflecting a strong culture of commitment, continuity, and institutional knowledge. This year’s cohort included six employees marking 20 years of service, 99 reaching the 15-year milestone, and 72 recognised for a decade of contribution. These milestones represent a collective wealth of expertise and experience that continues to support Aspetar’s standards of excellence. By recognising long- serving staff, the organisation reaffirms its appreciation for the people whose dedication shapes its ongoing success and future growth. Aspetar at Leaders Sport Performance Summits Aspetar has continued to strengthen its global presence through active participation in the Leaders Sport Performance Summit series, contributing expert insight to an international audience of senior sport and performance professionals. In recent years, Aspetar specialists have taken part in several editions of the summit, including London (2025) and Brisbane (2026). In London, Aspetar was represented by Dr Marco and Dr Cristiano, while the Brisbane edition featured contributions from Dr Montasser and Abdulla Itani. These sessions showcased Aspetar’s expertise and reinforced its position as a leading centre in sports medicine and performance science. Aspetar is also scheduled to participate in the Leaders Sport Performance Summit in New York (Brooklyn), taking place over two days in June 2026 at the Brooklyn Nets’ training and competition facilities. Aspetar’s session is planned for the second day of the event at the Barclays Center, where the hospital will deliver a dedicated lunchtime masterclass as part of the official programme. Through its ongoing collaboration with Leaders, Aspetar continues to engage with the global sports performance community, sharing knowledge, building relationships, a nd con t r i bu t i n g t o forward‑looking discussions that shape best practice across elite sport.
