Dr Farrukh Hamid is our Director of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Dr. Hamid is an American board certified Physiatrist and Pain management consultant who also specializes in Regenerative medicine and electrodiagnostics. Over the last 20 years Dr Hamid has acquired a strong background in his area of expertise and is world renowned in the management of MSK problems. He received his MD from Wayne state university MI, USA and FRACP from Australia. He also holds an MBA and MSc from University of Texas. Besides serving as the head of MSK at Aspetar he is currently an Assistant Prof. at Weill Cornell University and Associate professor at University of Texas at Dallas. At Aspetar since 2012 Dr Hamid spearheaded the establishment of the MSK division, including sports rheumatology, ENMG lab, pain management and a Regenerative medicine division He currently treats MSK injuries and pain and uses besides other modalities PRP for treatment. Dr. Hamid is an author, public speaker and a regular contributor at international events..
