Dr. Thomas Patrick
Lead Sports Psychologist,NSMP Performance Manager
Dr Patrick is currently National Sports Medicine Program (NSMP) Performance Manager and Lead Sport Psychologist with Aspetar Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Hospital. In addition, he is a Research Associate with the Sport Performance Research Institute of New Zealand. Prior to his arrival in Qatar, Tom served in various senior leadership roles with High Performance Sport New Zealand, the Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario as was the High Performance Director with Triathlon Canada.
Tom has worked as an applied sport psychologist for the past 18 years and served as faculty member with the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health at the University of Winnipeg where he lectured on coaching, leadership and the psychology of elite performance. Tom has consulted with a number of international elite athletes and teams in Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand has worked with several Olympians, Olympic Medallists and World Champions across several sports.
