The French Minister of Sports Roxana Maracineanu visits Aspetar

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Aspetar’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, who led the officials on a tour across the hospital’s world-class facilities and briefed them on its departments.

Commenting on the visit, HE Roxana Maracineanu, said:

As a former athlete and Olympic medalist in swimming, I can tell Aspetar is really a place where athletes can benefit from all its expertise and from having all these facilities available under one roof.

The French Minister of sports added,

Everything here revolves around patients, injured athletes, or the general public who can also access its services. The set-up provides huge advantages. With the service so focused on healing athletes it can only help to speed up recovery and the time it takes to return patients to maximum competence.
