Brazilian football coach and Olympic Gold medallist Rogerio Micale visits Aspetar

During his trip, Micale was briefed in detail on the optimal services that the hospital provides for athletes. In parallel with Qatar’s emergence as a sports medicine hub, Aspetar has established a leading role in the treatment and prevention of injuries to local, regional and international athletes across all sports, assisting athletes to achieve their maximum performance and full potential.

Commenting on his first visit to Aspetar, Micale said:

I have always been interested in traveling and discovering cultural identities. It’s been a pleasure to stay in Qatar, with amazing places to visit and very educated people. I saw numerous landmarks here in Qatar and Aspetar is one of them – it is an essential facility for all athletes.

I’m impressed to see world-class facilities here at Aspetar. The integration of all the amenities and care for athletes is not only for recovery purposes but also serves to prevent injuries and aid in enhancing performance in an increasingly advanced sporting world. In addition, athletes can maintain their physical health by conducting regular assessments at Aspetar.

 

Commenting on 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™, the Brazilian coach said: “During my stay I have been visiting various stadiums. I was amazed as I learnt about the current and future projects. I truly believe that Qatar will organise a World Cup that can be a landmark in terms of quality. Everything looks good.”
