Doha, 21st February 2015: Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital will continue providing exclusive sports medicine services to top tennis players during The 2015 Qatar Total Open tournament, which is being held 23-28 February and will be played at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
As part of the collaboration, Aspetar, through its National Sports Medicine Programme (NSMP), will offer a range of comprehensive medical services to all participating athletes, including physical therapy and sports massages, in addition to ambulances and fully equipped clinics at the venue.

Committed to the well-being of sportspersons, Aspetar’s support of the tournament began in 2011 with a three-year contract with QTF. Renewed last year for another three years, the current contract will continue the partnership until 2016.

Already confirmed for the Qatar Total Open are six top 10 ranked players; world No.3 and defending champion, Simona Halep, current Wimbledon champion and No.4 ranked Petra Kvitova. Also playing are Agnieszka Radwanska from Poland at No.6, Caroline Wozniacki ranked No.8, Germany’s Angelique Kerber at No.9 and Russia’s Ekaterina Makarova the world No.10.
