Produced in collaboration with Aspetar’s Healthy Lifestyle Programme, this Targeted Topic on Healthy Lifestyle promotes the vital message that exercise is medicine, and medical professionals must start prescribing it to their patients in order the ease the healthcare burden of modern, sedentary lifestyles. Articles include the role of the sports medicine physician in implementing exercise for population health, the low physical activity pandemic among children and adolescents, physical activity in preventive cardiology, as well as approaches to physical activity from around the globe, including Brazil, the UK, Japan, Singapore and Qatar.
