Aspetar Recreational Athlete Clinic - Science to Practice Seminar Series

As part of the new Aspetar Recreational Athlete Clinic Service, we invite you to the next free knowledge sharing session with our experts.

Overview

Heat is a limiting factor on sports performance at all levels of ability. Over the last 5 years dealing with the heat to maintain performance has become a key topic of interest and seen significant advances. This session identifies some of the key questions often raised on heat. It will then consider modern strategies to prepare for the heat as well as dealing with heat on race day itself. The session will include a practical case study of an elite athlete to demonstrate what these strategies look like in everyday practice.
