8th Aspetar World Radiography Day Symposium

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 8th Aspetar World Radiography Day Symposium 2018, taking place on the 8 November 2018.

Attendees will gain knowledge on pathologies and radiographic techniques of different muscle groups and the shoulder, as well as paediatric bone development and player management. There will be three sessions of presentations on the topics; the hamstring/thigh and player management, the shoulder, the groin and paediatrics, followed by limited number workshops on ultrasound.

Overall Learning Objectives:

By the end of this event, participants will be able to:

• Identify characteristics of muscular injury
• Recall patient pathway and player management in a sports medicine environment
• Explain radiographic techniques in MSK
• Outline bone development and repair process

This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) – Accreditation Department and is approved for a maximum of 7.5 hours.

Target Audience:  Nurses, Physicians and Allied Health Professionals
