Aspetar officials briefed Al Adwani about the services the hospital provides for athletes and gave him a comprehensive tour of Aspetar’s facilities, including the altitude rooms.

During the visit, Al Adwani said:

We are here today to familiarise ourselves with one of the state-of-the-art medical facilities in the region and the world. It is important for us to learn about the unique approach here and the special way the organisation manages and treats injuries. Aspetar has an excellent track record of supporting international teams. The technology on display is very advanced, especially their altitude rooms.

I am proud that Qatar, a member country of the GCC, has such advanced technologies. Qatar is making great advances in the field of sports medicine. I have seen a lot of things that we can use at the Oman Football Federation and I hope we can find a way to cooperate with and benefit from this facility to serve our athletes.
