The Department of Medical Imaging provides a wide range of imaging and interventional technologies enabling the delivery of industry leading services. Sophisticated information technology infrastructure enables rapid distribution of images and reports in a timely manner.The Department of Medical Imaging focuses on providing optimal personalised care with an emphasis on quality and safety. The Medical Imaging team is instrumental in ensuring appropriate selection of modality and imaging protocols for all patients with a view to “best test first”. Many innovative quality and performance metrics are developed, tested and instituted to ensure optimal performance of equipment, efficient work flow, timely completion of examinations and procedures, accurate diagnoses, and prompt communication of reports to the referring practitioner.
