The Sports Medicine Department is a leading centre for the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of sport injuries. Our Sports Medicine Consultants have extensive experience working with athletes and sporting institutes from across the globe with many having provided services to the European Football Leagues. A truly multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries and the health and well-being thereof is utilised, via an international team of experts including:


  • Sports Medicine Physicians
  • Physiotherapists
  • Sports Scientists (physiology, psychology, podiatry and nutrition)

  • Athlete Pre-participation Screening
  • Sports Cardiology Project
In addition, Aspetar is equipped with 25 normobaric hypoxic rooms to enable athletes to reside in an altitude facility.
