Aspetar’s pharmacy is a premier pharmacy for orthopaedic and sports medicine care.
It provides a high standard of pharmaceutical care, clinical care and necessary
education that meet the needs of all internal/external clients, athletes and patients
in regards to best practice.
Our pharmacy is specialised in supporting activities related to the sports communities,
optimising athletic performance and injury prevention as well as provision of specific
orthopaedic medicines and accessories.
Aspetar’s pharmacy employs state-of-the-art automation to safeguard accurate distribution
and dispensing of medications to patients. Our pharmacy also sources and advices
the best sport accessories to the Sports Clubs and Federations, and aids in the
development of the National Sport Medicine Programme in providing them with supplies.
In order to provide the best patient care, our clinical pharmacists are always available
to discuss, counsel and provide advices to patients regarding pharmaceutical care
by applying the best available evidence-based practice.
Since our clinical pharmacists are experts in the therapeutic use of medications,
they aim at ensuring continuous consultation in various areas like selection of
drug therapy, clinical pharmacokinetics, monitoring inpatient's response to current
medication, as well as providing valid information and advice regarding the safe,
appropriate, and cost-effective use of medications by collaborating with physicians
